As an ACT Government statutory authority, The Suburban Land Agency (SLA) is responsible for delivering people-focused neighbourhoods within the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD) portfolio. We encourage and promote inclusive and sustainable communities through suburban development and urban renewal.

People and the environment are the focus and the heart of every neighbourhood we design and deliver. Through greenfield development and urban renewal, we aspire to create place experiences and lifestyles that are uniquely Canberran, where everyone feels welcome and at home. We seek to capture the history, unique features, and place stories of all developments we design and sell. Our approach to what we do is steeped in creativity. To think beyond, design in new ways and try different approaches. We experiment, invent and innovate to find solutions that best serve the community and industry.

The SLA acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, the traditional custodians of the lands and waters where we live and work. We recognise the special relationship and connection that Ngunnawal people have with this Country and pay our respects to the Elders past, present and future.
