Communities at work

Communities at Work proudly organised the Celebrate Gungahlin Festival from 2015-2017 and are a current member of the festival working group.

They are Canberra’s largest not-for-profit community organisation, with a proud 44 year history in the region. They work with diverse groups and organisations to build a resilient, sustainable and socially inclusive community, which enriches the lives of people in Canberra and the surrounding region.

Their wide range of high-quality early education and care (child care) services and community services support positive educational outcomes, assist in alleviating hardship, enhance the quality of life and lead to positive social change.
